Alex Drevessa lives in central Missouri. She spent her formative years in Maryland and Utah, so split the difference and settled in a place extremely like and unlike both of them.
She generally spends her time hiking, perfecting baking recipes, volunteering in her church, teaching her 2e children, studying history and science, running a local chess club, and practicing law. Since 2015, she’s run a half-marathon down a mountain, accompanied (piano) a city choir, dissected a starfish, been the director of music for a high-school musical, judged several law school competitions, been a paid extra in a movie, and published a series of sci-fi adventure novels. She married far above her station, and is daily grateful for her husband’s intellect, compassion, and humor.
