Alex Drevessa grew up in a large family in Maryland.

Due to her lack of wealth in college, she worked academically to achieve the high grades necessary to renew her scholarships, and she worked jobs like cleaning nacho cheese off football stadium seats, billing insurance companies, and staffing one of the university library’s help desks– an excellent job for many reasons, the best of which was that she met her future husband when he wandered by one day.

She’s practiced criminal and civil law for two decades. Aside from that, she can generally be found teaching her children, volunteering in teaching and administrative positions in her church and community, studying science and history, and writing the latest book in her time-travel adventure series while sitting at a window that looks out on the Chick-fil-A drive-through line.

Alex lives in central Missouri.
